Alfa Romeo presents the C39
Alfa Romeo officially unveiled its new single-seater this morning in Barcelona before the start of winter testing.
It’s officially underway again, all the Formula 1 teams are in Barcelona for the start of winter testing.
Alfa Romeo took the opportunity to unveil its new single-seater. The C39 is not entirely a discovery, as it was already widely observed on track last Friday during a shakedown that took place on the Italian track of Fiorano. It was the opportunity to discover the final livery, which now sports its traditional red and white. Note the appearance of the new title sponsor Orlen, which obviously appears on the single-seater.
As during the 2019 season, it is Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi who will have the chance to drive for the Alfa Romeo team. However, it is the former Williams driver, Robert Kubica, who will perform the first laps on the track this Wednesday morning. Giovinazzi is expected to take his place in the car during the afternoon session.
