Season 2 of Drive to Survive will be available on Netflix on February 28th

After an excellent first season, the second installment of the documentary series will be available from February 28 on the streaming platform. Like in 2019, fans will be able to relive the season a few days before the Australian Grand Prix which will take place from March 12 to 15 and will mark the beginning of the 2020 season.

Even though very little information has leaked so far, we will find the main protagonists who made the success of the first season. Moreover, the big news this year will be the participation of the Ferrari and Mercedes teams, which, let’s remember, were the only ones not to have opened their garages to the American giant’s cameras.

Indeed, for this season 2, the cameras had access to all the teams during the various races. Mercedes had chosen the German Grand Prix to host the filming team, which had turned out to be a bad choice for the German manufacturer who was celebrating its 125 years in motor racing competition. Indeed, its Finnish driver, Valtteri Bottas, had retired while Lewis Hamilton recorded his worst result of the year with a ninth place.

Netflix also reportedly followed the Renault team behind the scenes during the French Grand Prix, while Ferrari was in the spotlight at Monza, where they were celebrating their 90th anniversary and where Charles Leclerc secured his second victory.

In addition to the presence of the cameras, the teams have also made available members of the team and their drivers to conduct exclusive interviews.

Note that Netflix announced nine episodes for season 2, compared to ten in the first season.
