Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi will start from the last row on the grid tomorrow for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Max Chilton will start 21st, benefiting from his teammate's 5-place penalty for a gearbox change. The team has faced various setbacks. A DRS issue for Chilton, a differential problem on Jules Bianchi's gearbox which had to be changed, as well as a KERS problem during the qualifying. The team believes it has had its share of troubles for the rest of the weekend and hopes to have a good race tomorrow.

Kimi Räikkönen managed to qualify in 5th position today in Abu Dhabi, just a few hundredths of a second off 3rd place. The Finn hopes to beat the Mercedes tomorrow in the race to reach the podium or even more. Romain Grosjean, on the other hand, wasn't comfortable in qualifying. Nevertheless, he recorded the 7th fastest time and also aims for the podium. The Lotus cars seem to perform better on longer stints than the Mercedes. Therefore, there will be a duel between the E21 and the W04 during the Grand Prix.

Mark Webber scored the 13th pole position of his career today in Abu Dhabi, narrowly beating his teammate, Sebastian Vettel, by a tenth of a second. The Red Bull driver set a new record for an Australian driver, surpassing the number of pole positions held by an Australian in F1 (previously held by Jack Brabham). The Red Bulls proved stronger than the Mercedes only in Q3 but couldn't have started the Grand Prix better tomorrow by securing an all-Red Bull front row.
