To its great chagrin, Toro Rosso continues its momentum from Canada by not being able to participate in the fierce battle for honorable positions. The STR7 is simply not fast enough, although it is hoped that a few changes will suffice to aim for better on Saturday.

The Lotus likes the heat and today it wasn't particularly warm in Valencia. Nevertheless, the outcome of these tests is good and with temperatures expected to rise a bit tomorrow and Sunday, the team anticipates a strong performance.
