Scuderia Ferrari leaves Monaco rather satisfied as Fernando Alonso took the lead in the drivers' championship by finishing on the podium in the Principality. Felipe Massa, for his part, really showed competitiveness for the first time this season, and at his home race, the Brazilian driver secured a fine 6th place finish.

Mark Webber secured his first victory in 2012 this afternoon at the Monaco Grand Prix, his second in the Principality following his win in 2010. It is also the third consecutive victory for the Red Bull team in Monaco, following Webber in 2010 and Vettel in 2011. The reigning world champion delivered a strong race to ultimately finish in 4th position.

Today's Monaco Grand Prix was not the one hoped for by the McLaren team. Lewis Hamilton, who started in 3rd position, eventually finished 5th while Jenson Button had to retire after a collision with Heikki Kovalainen's Caterham.

The Lotus team had high hopes in Monaco today but they ended up leaving with only two points, those from the 9th place secured by Kimi Räikkönen. The Finn couldn't do better after experiencing some issues with his tires. Romain Grosjean, on his part, had to retire even before the first turn following a contact with Michael Schumacher's Mercedes.

The Marussia team leaves Monaco having lost its 10th place in the constructors' standings to Caterham. Disappointment is therefore present within the Russian team. Timo Glock finished 14th but hoped for better. Charles Pic had to retire due to an electrical problem.

Paul di Resta and Nico Hülkenberg both managed to finish in the top 10 of the Monaco Grand Prix today. Both men thus enabled the Sahara Force India team to achieve a great performance and score significant points for the championship. This is the team's best result this season.

In the rhythm throughout the race, Sergio Pérez can curse his very poor qualifying that forced him to start at the back of the pack, on a circuit where overtaking can be counted on one hand. A gamble that turned out to be a bad one since the rain intensified only after the race. Ricciardo, on the other hand, was forced to retire after damaging his steering by going over a curb.

After several complicated races, Bruno Senna managed to return to the top 10. The Brazilian driver finished 10th in the principality of Monaco, securing a point for the Williams team. After his victory in Spain, Pastor Maldonado was brought back down to Earth, as he had to retire on the first lap.

The HRT team is quite satisfied with their Monaco weekend because although Pedro de la Rosa had to retire on the first lap, Narain Karthikeyan managed to finish the race in a good position, in 15th place. The Spanish team thus achieved its best result of the season.
