Photos: A Saturday in Japan
Saturday marked the second day of the Japanese Grand Prix. With Free Practice 3 and Qualifying, numerous twists and actions were captured by the dozens of photographers present all around the circuit, in the paddocks, and in the pits. Relive this day in over 100 photographs.
As expected, the Red Bulls and McLarens were the strong cars today. Sebastian Vettel, Jenson Button, and Lewis Hamilton battled both in the final practice session and in qualifying. It was the German Vettel who came out on top. For this second day of the Japanese Grand Prix, the Red Bull driver is the favorite to win the race and especially the 2011 championship.
