Felipe Massa saved the day for Williams in Monaco with a 10th-place finish. Valtteri Bottas, for his part, was given a ten-second penalty, so he had to make do with 12th place.

After a lacklustre qualifying session, Ferrari was unable to take full advantage of the difficult conditions at the Monaco Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel finished just off the podium, while Kimi Räikkönen crashed out and had to retire.

Sahara Force India had a very good qualifying session, with Nico Hülkenberg in 5th place and Sergio Perez taking advantage of Kimi Räikkönen's penalty to move up to 7th. Big points can therefore be expected.
