Ford will therefore return to F1 in 2026, but not with its own team. The American brand will partner with Red Bull Power Train, the engine manufacturer created by Red Bull, in order to become their main technical partner. Ford-RBPT will thus provide engines for two teams starting in 2026: Red Bull and AlphaTauri.
