Once again today has been good even if we would have liked to be a little more competitive, but that’s where we are with the new package. We must continue to work and optimize our performance for the race. I managed to maintain our level from Shanghai which is quite positive. I’m learning every second and still need a bit of time to understand why the car sometimes reacts unexpectedly. We have to push and keep a cool head to move forward.

Timo Glock – 22nd and 22nd:

« Not a very good qualifying for me, that’s for sure. I had engine hesitations in turns 12 and 14 and we will need to fix that for tomorrow, but apart from that, it was okay. For other reasons, I couldn’t perform as well as Jérôme today, so we have all night to understand why. I am focused on the race, and our first goal will be to finish the race. »

Jérôme [D’Ambrosio] continues to impress us with his quick understanding of developments and having two clean sessions, allowing him to achieve good times. However, we remain disappointed to be at the back of the grid tomorrow due to a mistake with a yellow flag. It is up to us to ensure this mistake is not repeated. Otherwise, the track is really made for the drivers and tomorrow. I have no doubt about the spectacle there will be.

Timo Glock, for his part, did not really like the developments on the exhaust. It was removed last night, but in the end, we realized it would have been better to keep them. The car seems more balanced with this new package. He will have the chance to make up for it tomorrow in the race and, like in the other races, show that we can be ready when it matters.
