Fernando Alonso goes to Monaco with plenty of ambition. The Spanish driver, accustomed to driving amid Monaco’s extravagance, luxury, and glitter, has adapted his look for this weekend. The Ferrari driver will race this weekend with a new golden helmet.
No extra cost for Alonso, as the paint remains a classic gold color. This is not the case for all teams and drivers. It is remembered that in 2004, Jaguar had placed a diamond on the nose of each of its cars. Valued at $20,000, the team even lost one during the race. Later, in 2010, McLaren came with helmets signed with diamonds. Hamilton and Button took advantage of it.
