Photos: A Saturday in Canada
The photos from the second day of the Canadian Grand Prix, already the seventh race of the 2011 season, are online. More than a hundred photographs await you. They are available to enthusiasts to uncover the innovations and better understand the drivers' performances during these practice sessions.
This Saturday, the drivers had a field day on the track. Vettel unsurprisingly secured the pole position to stay true to the norm but the Ferraris are getting increasingly closer to the German in terms of performance, as are the Red Bulls.
Massa marks his return to the top of the timesheets. The Brazilian is on Fernando Alonso’s heels and therefore appears in more photos than before.
Just like yesterday, the public is strongly present. Virgin’s boss, Richard Branson, has notably come to attend the qualifications and will be present at the race tomorrow to support his team.
Also on the program are the equipment of the single-seaters and the under-pressure expressions of the F1 drivers.
