New campaign by the Senna Foundation launched in Suzuka

Nephew of Ayrton and LRGP driver, Bruno launched this initiative by unveiling a colorless Brazilian flag “Sennatri.” By the end of November, Senna fans must send photos of themselves, which will then appear on the flag he will carry during the final race of the season in Brazil.

By involving the fans, Sennatri aims not only to celebrate Ayrton’s three world titles (1988, 1990, 1991) but also to raise awareness of the work carried out by the Foundation: feeding, housing, clothing, and educating underprivileged populations in Brazil. A cause to which Ayrton was very committed.

In order to promote this campaign, Bruno will wear a specially marked helmet Sennatri starting from the Korean Grand Prix next week and until the end of the season.

Bruno Senna, Lotus Renault GP driver: Given the role played by the Suzuka circuit in some of the great battles fought by my uncle in the world championship, it’s the perfect place to launch this initiative. It’s also one of my favorite circuits, so kicking off the campaign leading up to my home race in Brazil here is entirely appropriate. It’s a real privilege to be able to work on this campaign and raise awareness for the cause supported by the Ayrton Senna Foundation, educating the needy in my country, Brazil. I hope as many Senna fans as possible will get involved in the coming month and a half. We will then see their faces on the Brazilian flag in Sao Paulo at the end of the season.
