Sunday: Schumacher sixth, Rosberg tenth

Michael Schumacher – 6th:

« In view of what we have managed to do today, I am satisfied because we were able to make the most of the car’s potential, and we managed things properly to have a good race. The team did a great job throughout the weekend to improve our performance for the race. I believe it was difficult for us to do more. The pit stops went perfectly well, and everything happened as we wanted. I would like to congratulate Sebastian Vettel and his team because they have had an exceptional season. It’s very emotional to see him win the championship again, I am very happy for him and even proud. »

Nico Rosberg – 10th:

I am happy to score a point today, and I also had a lot of fun with some good overtaking maneuvers. It’s clearly one of the toughest circuits to overtake on, and starting from so far back on the grid meant it was going to be complicated for me. Before the race, my goal was to finish between 8th and 10th place and, even though it would have been better to finish higher, it’s a good result. Thanks to the team for the good strategy and perfectly executed pit stops. After this difficult weekend, I hope for a return to normal in Korea to regain our usual place. And congratulations to Sebastian: you deserve this title.

Ross Brawn – Team Principal:

« We did the best we could with the car today and with all the opportunities we had. The car performed well during the race, the strategies were good for both cars and our pit stops as well. In this regard, our season has really been good concerning pit stops and today, they helped us gain positions, especially for Nico during the Safety Car period, with two places gained. Our drivers defended well and the race was exciting with the title at stake: congratulations to Sebastian and Red Bull for this second title. »
