Sunday: LRGP drivers on the verge of the top 10

Vitaly Petrov – 11th:

« My start on hard tires was good. I pitted quickly but made a clutch error which cost me time. It disrupted our plans: I was supposed to come out ahead of Pérez and the Force Indias, but we didn’t succeed. Their straight-line speed was better than mine, which meant I couldn’t overtake them, even though I was attacking to the maximum. I experienced a lot of oversteer which caused problems, and I lost control at turn 9 after hitting the curb. I ended up on the grass but managed to regain control of the car ».

Bruno Senna – 12th:

This race had several aspects for me. My start was good, I gained four places and had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I had a Kers problem, I had to do without it for the rest of the race and it was difficult. In the end, we could have finished in the points, but we are now focused on the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and we will see what happens there.

Eric Boullier – Team Principal:

« The day is very disappointing because we had quite a few missed opportunities. It is clear that we could have done much better as the track seemed to suit us. Our performances were decent during practice but we couldn’t be fast when we needed to be. We will have to surpass ourselves in the last two Grand Prix to finish the season on a better note ».
