Singapore: Check the TV schedule!

Lewis Hamilton made a strong impression in Italy by dominating the Monza circuit from start to finish. But the McLaren driver is still far from competing with Fernando Alonso in the drivers’ world championship. The Spaniard is still the favorite for the title and, with 7 races left in the season, could focus on fighting for the podium at each race to almost ensure winning another title.

In Singapore, under the humidity, the heat, and especially under the spotlight – as the race will take place at night, traditional European Grand Prix timings will be applied thanks to the time difference.

Consequently, TF1 will broadcast the race in its entirety starting at 1:55 pm. The F1 à la Une team will present the 2012 Singapore Grand Prix a few minutes earlier with a magazine and interviews on the starting grid.

Eurosport, a paid channel available on cable, the Web, and as an option on ISPs’ TV packages, will broadcast free practice sessions and qualifying live or delayed (notably Free Practice 3). TF1, on the other hand, will offer a condensed replay of the qualifying sessions in the night from Saturday to Sunday with the most important moments. You’ll have to stay up late (1:45 a.m.).

Warning, do not expect to watch the Grand Prix on Sunday from the TF1 iPad or iPhone app – it will not be broadcast. Rights are exclusively reserved for television.

Note also that the editorial team will, as usual, offer a live commentary of the qualifications on Saturday starting from 1:45 pm to follow the evolution of the standings live and in a friendly atmosphere. You will also be able to ask your questions live to the editorial team.
