Japan: Check Out the TV Schedule!
The Japanese Grand Prix is the 15th round of the season out of 20 events. In the Land of the Rising Sun, Europeans will need to get up early. The race will start at 8 a.m. Find out which channels will broadcast the event and all the schedules for the 2012 Japanese F1 Grand Prix.
In Singapore, Sebastian Vettel showed that he was not out of the running for the championship yet, but once again it was Fernando Alonso who made the right move, especially thanks to the retirement of Lewis Hamilton, who was his closest rival at the time.
The teams arrived in Japan on Monday, at the Suzuka circuit, a true reference in Formula 1. However, with a six-hour time difference from the old continent, they will have to get up early.
TF1 will broadcast the race in full starting at 07:55. The team of F1 à la Une will present the 2012 Japanese Grand Prix a few minutes earlier with Denis Brogniart on the TF1 set in Paris.
Eurosport, a subscription channel available on cable, the Web, and as an option on ISPs’ TV packages, will broadcast the free practice sessions and qualifying rounds live. TF1, on the other hand, will offer a condensed replay on the night from Saturday to Sunday of the qualifying rounds with the most important moments. You’ll have to stay up late on Saturday (1:45 AM).
Warning, do not expect to watch the Grand Prix on Sunday from the TF1 app on iPad or iPhone – it will not be broadcast. The rights are exclusively reserved for television.
Note also: The editorial team will offer you, as usual, a live commentary of the qualifications on Saturday starting at 06:45 to follow the evolution of the hierarchy live and in complete conviviality. You will also be able to ask questions to the editorial team.

Japanese GP on the Radio
If you don’t have a television, you can also follow the Grand Prix – which will take place at the Suzuka Circuit – via radio. The frequencies naturally depend on your geographical area. Several radio stations will broadcast the Grand Prix live. The times are therefore the same as those presented in the live coverage.
RMC will broadcast the race and the qualifications with the show Intégrale F1, commented by Patrick Tambay and Jean-Luc Roy. Europe 1 will also offer the broadcast of the Grand Prix.
Note also that the FOM has implemented paid mobile applications to follow live the position of the drivers on the track and get the latest results of the weekend in real-time.
