This weekend, the F1 paddock has settled at the Hungaroring circuit, the venue for the 10th Grand Prix of the 2013 season. With the expected high temperatures, the tires are expected to play an important role this afternoon in Hungary.
In pole position, we find a Mercedes once again, that of Lewis Hamilton who secures his third consecutive pole position. Behind him are Sebastian Vettel’s Red Bull, Romain Grosjean’s Lotus, and the second Mercedes, driven by Nico Rosberg.
The top 10 is completed by Fernando Alonso, Kimi Räikkönen, Felipe Massa, Daniel Ricciardo, Sergio Pérez, and Mark Webber. The latter, having not set a timed lap in Q3, will have the opportunity to choose his tires for the first stint unlike the drivers ahead of him. It is also worth noting that Sergio Pérez set his time on mediums and will start with this type of tire, while the 8 drivers ahead of him will start on softs.
This 10th event of the season will certainly have plenty of attractions to delight F1 fans, and all of it can be followed on Motors Inside. Feel free to ask us your questions, we will be happy to answer them.
