Saturday: Sahara Force India wants points for its home race

The Sahara Force India drivers finished just outside the top 10 in qualifying, with Paul di Resta starting in 12th place just ahead of Adrian Sutil. Both men believe their car is more competitive than in recent Grand Prix and hope to prove it tomorrow by bringing home some points for the Indian team's home race.

Saturday: Sahara Force India wants points for its home race

Paul Di Resta – 7th and 12th:

« I think we can be satisfied with the work done today. My lap in Q2 was very good, even though I made a small mistake in the penultimate corner, so I might have been a few tenths off the perfect lap. It seems we’ve clearly made progress recently and my confidence is growing with the way the car is performing right now. For our home race, we are only a few places away from the points, so we are in the mix and if we manage to choose the right strategy, we should be able to come away with something. »

Adrian Sutil – 14th and 13th:

The 13th place is more or less what we expected today. The balance wasn’t perfect for my last stint and I suffered from understeer, so maybe I could have been a few tenths faster. As a team, we are 12th and 13th so I think we have a good chance of scoring points. The options in terms of strategy are quite limited because the medium tire is a very good tire for the race, much more than the softs. It’s our home race and I really enjoy this circuit so I hope we can put on a good show tomorrow in front of the Indian fans.
