Tom McCullough leaves Sauber for Force India

Tom McCullough began his motorsport career in 1997 with the American team Panoz in GT. He was quickly recruited by Reynard Motorsport, a manufacturer of racing chassis specializing in single-seaters.

The Briton began a 10-year career with the Williams team in 2003. He held several positions and eventually became a race engineer. He participated in the revival of FIA Formula 2 in 2009 before becoming Nico Hülkenberg’s engineer. He might actually reunite with him at Sahara Force India.

At 38 years old, Tom McCullough will experience a third structure in three years. He reportedly signed for just one year with the Indian team, with possible options for the future.

This is not the only transfer among the engineers, as it is rumored that Xevi Pujolar, chief race engineer at the Williams F1 team, is heading to Toro Rosso. To replace him, the Grove team could recruit Rob Smedley, who would be reunited with Felipe Massa.
