As everyone eagerly awaits the presentation of various Formula 1 cars, the McLaren team has unveiled the launch date of its future challenger, the MP4-29. The Woking team will present its single-seater online on January 24.
This is what the Woking team announced on its Twitter feed, specifying that the launch will begin at 12:00 UK time, which is 13:00 French time. The launch will be online on their website, probably through a video streaming as has become common in recent years.
If for the moment, the McLaren team is the only one to have officially revealed the presentation date of its car, the Mercedes team should unveil its F1 W05 in Jerez on the first day of testing, next January 28, as the team replied on Twitter to one of its fans: « [On] January 28, during the first day of testing in Jerez. It will be the big day. »
On the Ferrari side, for the moment, there hasn’t been any communication about the launch date of the Formula 1 car, but according to *Marca*, the Italian team should undertake this exercise before the first tests in Jerez, between January 23rd and 25th.
At Lotus F1, the team will not be participating in the Jerez tests with the E22, their race car, but it should be unveiled before the second testing session, which will begin on February 19 in Bahrain.
