Two injured in an accident at Toro Rosso headquarters
An accident occurred at the construction site for the Toro Rosso factory extension. It resulted in two minor injuries.
If Toro Rosso is the little sister of Red Bull, the team’s premises remain those occupied by the modest Minardi team in the 1980s and 1990s. To modernize, the team has decided to construct new buildings just across from its current offices.
The accident happened this morning at this construction site. They fell when the ceiling collapsed: « This morning, on the construction site of our new building within our factory in Faenza, an accident occurred. Two workers were injured while working on the second floor when the ceiling collapsed. »
The team wanted to clarify that the two men were not in serious condition: “After receiving immediate care on site, the two men were taken by ambulance to the hospital in Cesena, where neither is in serious condition. We wish them a good and speedy recovery.”
