Sauber celebrates 10 years of partnership with Certina
Monza is almost a home race for Sauber. The team is taking advantage of this to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its partnership with Certina.
Since the beginning of the season, Sauber has been struggling both on the track and behind the scenes, as sponsors have been as scarce as points. It is therefore essential for the Swiss team to retain its current partners.
Certina is one of its most loyal sponsors as the collaboration between the two entities dates back to 2005. To celebrate their decade-long partnership, Sauber is following the trend established by McLaren or Lotus since the start of the season: featuring a particular sponsor on the radiators of its cars. Certina will thus benefit from maximum exposure, showcasing both its logo and an image of its limited series DS-2.
The management and the team’s three main drivers, Adrian Sutil, Esteban Gutierrez, and Giedo van der Garde, each received a limited edition of this watch. They were presented with them as part of an event held in the Monza paddock.
