Marcus Ericsson will have to start from the pits
For not respecting a double yellow flag during the third free practice session, Marcus Ericsson will have to start from the pits.
The Swedish driver from Caterham could not be placed further back on the grid since he recorded the slowest qualifying time. The stewards at Monza have therefore decided to have him start from the pit lane during tomorrow’s race.
He also received three penalty points on his driver’s license, bringing his total to five for the year. He therefore has seven left until next season.
