Alpinestars replaces Puma at Williams

The Italian company Alpinestars is therefore replacing Puma, which until now had been the supplier of Williams’ suits, gloves, and underwear. This is not the first time such a replacement has occurred, as the same happened at Red Bull at the beginning of the 2011 season.

Alpinestars has therefore built an impressive portfolio of partners in F1: in addition to the two energy drink teams, there are also Lotus and Sahara Force India. This ensures significant visibility for the star-branded company, as well as an ideal testing ground for products sold to the general public, as explained by Gabriele Mazzarolo, its president: “Our technology development is based on our testing at the summit of global motorsports, in Formula 1, Nascar, WEC, Moto GP, motocross, and all other high-level competitions. Creating a technical partnership with Williams is a logical continuation of this philosophy given their long and prestigious tradition of innovation and success.”
