Erreà becomes the first sponsor of Manor
For its first race of the season, Manor could display the logo of its first sponsor: it is the sportswear manufacturer Erreà.
One of the many challenges Manor’s officials had to face was having uniforms in their colors for the first race in Australia, even though only a few weeks before the start of the season, they were not even sure if the team still existed.
The Italian firm Erreà has spotted a great opportunity by responding to the call for tenders issued by Manor to supply all of its civilian clothing. This results in the presence of the company’s logo on the rear wing of the single-seaters driven by Will Stevens and Roberto Merhi.
John Booth, the team director, stated: “In the midst of the very complicated process of rebuilding the team for the 2015 season, we are delighted to have reached an agreement for our clothing with Erreà Sport. Despite impossible deadlines, they succeeded in providing us with a complete range of clothing suited to the extreme working conditions we experience trackside. We look forward to developing a range together during the season.”
From the perspective of the suits, Manor has retained last year’s supplier as the white suits worn by the drivers are still from another Italian company, Sparco.
