Nico Hülkenberg therefore confirms his good form at the moment. If he is once again in the top 10, he believes he couldn’t have done it without the B version of the VMJ08: « *My laps were clean and it was a calm session. The improvements we brought here are working very well. Without them, I think we could have been in the top 10 today. From this perspective, I am very happy because we know that there are still plenty of good things ahead of us as we develop our car.* »

But this new specification somewhat unsettled Sergio Perez, who was unable to find the right settings during the session: « This weekend has been a bit difficult for me. I’ve tried several setup options and getting used to the car. The B version is a big step forward, but we still need to explore its limits. Once we fully understand it, I think it has a lot of potential. »

The two drivers therefore hope to be able to sneak into the points at the end of tomorrow’s race.
