IFS becomes a sponsor of Sauber

For the resumption of hostilities, Sauber has chosen not to unveil its new car in order to allow more development time. However, the C34 that has traveled to Barcelona is already in the 2016 colors, particularly with the sponsors announced at the end of last season.

An additional name has been added to CNBC and Malbuner. It is the Swedish company IFS. It secures a prime spot on the rear wing of the single-seater, as well as on the racing suit and helmet of Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr.

Monisha Kaltenborn, the team principal, could only be delighted to have a new major partner: “We are thrilled to welcome IFS as a principal partner within the Sauber F1 Team. In these challenging times for Formula 1, it is crucial to have strong partners. With IFS, we are laying down important foundations for the upcoming season as well as for future projects. This collaboration proves that both companies share similar values in terms of performance, high technology, and high standards of quality, which is fundamental for a successful partnership.”

One can thus imagine that the Hinwil team adopts the products offered by IFS since they are dedicated to the management of resources and assets of companies. This wouldn’t be the first time such an association is implemented, as in 2015, Sahara Force India partnered with Adaptavist, a data management specialist.
