Known for its famous collection of stickers around football, Panini has also diversified into a number of other areas. The latest creation of its Panini Collections label is an unprecedented encyclopedic collection of Formula 1 cars at a 1/43 scale.
The first model of this prestigious collection is one of the most famous Formula 1 cars. Indeed, it is the 1988 McLaren MP4/4, driven by Ayrton Senna. It is reproduced in minute detail: inscriptions, colors, stickers (except for those of its main sponsor of the time, due to the Evin law), driver’s name, aerodynamics, engine and mechanical parts up to the cockpit including the steering wheel, seat, and seat belts.
