Chinese Grand Prix qualifying live
Motors Inside brings you all the qualifying action from the Chinese Grand Prix, with live commentary from 8:45 am (GMT).
After a Friday lost to heavy rain in Shanghai, the drivers arrive blind for this second qualifying session of the season. It could be even more unpredictable if the weather once again disrupts the proceedings during the session.
This kind of scenario can lead to surprises, as Nico Hülkenberg has made a specialty of, notably in Brazil in 2010 but also last year in Austria. Nevertheless, the Renault driver will have to manage to get the best out of his car, having made a mistake during free practice.
The favorites will obviously be the Mercedes drivers, with a significant advantage for Lewis Hamilton. The Ferrari drivers will certainly not be far behind and will be keen to concede a smaller gap than in Melbourne (three tenths over a lap).
On a circuit that highlights engine power with the longest straight of the year, the Renault engines of Red Bull and Toro Rosso are expected to struggle, while Romain Grosjean will try to replicate his Australian performance (6th on the grid).
As for Esteban Ocon, he will have his sights set on reaching Q3 in F1 for the first time, after joining the club of drivers with at least one point to their name.
All the stakes of this qualification will therefore be available to follow live on casinoenlignefrance.eu.com.
