After a day of intense work for the various drivers, the time for qualifying has arrived for the Russian Grand Prix. This qualifying session is expected to take place in dry conditions, just like the rest of the weekend.
After three practice sessions dominated by Ferrari, uncertainty looms over the hierarchy that will emerge after an hour of chasing the best time, between the Italian team and Mercedes, the usual favorite in this delicate exercise.
If the top two spots seem to be locked in by these two teams, the rest of the hierarchy appears to be very close, between Red Bull, Williams, and Nico Hülkenberg’s Renault.
As for the French, Esteban Ocon will have a chance to make it into Q3, while Romain Grosjean, struggling this weekend despite the return to the usual brake system on the Haas, will fight to get into Q2.
