GP Extreme partners with Sauber in Abu Dhabi
On the occasion of the last race of the season, Sauber receives support from GP Extreme, a company that offers the opportunity to drive old Formula 1 cars.
Frédéric Fatien is both a businessman and a gentleman driver, having competed several times in the 24 Hours of Dubai. His passion for motorsports and his long association with Jean-Denis Deletraz have made him one of the historic sponsors of Louis Deletraz, who finished his F2 season with Rapax.
He also launched GP Extreme, his company specializing in driving vintage Formula 1 cars, based in the city of the United Arab Emirates.
On the occasion of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, he decided to gain global visibility by partnering with Sauber, as commented by the Franco-Ivorian: « We are delighted to be associated with the Sauber F1 team at the upcoming F1 Grand Prix taking place in Abu Dhabi. GP Extreme’s permanent goal is to bring the heritage of motorsport to the Middle East and share our passion with local motorsport enthusiasts by offering them unique driving sensations. »
This leads to its logo being positioned at the front of Marcus Ericsson’s and Pascal Wehrlein’s single-seaters. It is also likely that the agreement includes a number of Paddock passes so the company can invite several of its wealthy clients to experience a F1 Grand Prix from the inside.
