Vettel’s tribute helmet for his last race with Ferrari
For his final race with Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel wanted to pay tribute to his team with a helmet specially designed for the occasion.
It’s the end of an era at Ferrari, as their star driver Sebastian Vettel is leaving for Aston Martin. After 6 seasons marked by highs and lows, the German wanted to pay tribute to his current team with a special helmet, presented for this last race of the season in Abu Dhabi:

This glittery helmet, in reference to the lights of Abu Dhabi, is also marked by numerous symbols in homage to Ferrari. It features both the German and Italian flags, as well as the message “Grazie Ragazzi” with the words “Ferrari, Italia, Tifosi, and Maranello.”
The text is not translatable.
The base of the helmet is chrome: we also see the « Cavallino », the mythical prancing horse of the Scuderia, on the side.
Vettel started this last Grand Prix of the season in 13th position, after a mixed qualifying session.
