2004: Year of the first Grand Prix organized at the Sakhir circuit.

57: The number of laps to cover during the Grand Prix.

2006: The Grand Prix opens the 2006 World Championship. By achieving his 65th pole position, Michael Schumacher equals Ayrton Senna’s record.

3: After 2006 and 2010, the Bahrain Grand Prix opens the F1 season for the third time after the postponement of the Australian Grand Prix.

4: Record of victories for Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel on this track.

2014: For the tenth anniversary of the Grand Prix, the race is held at night for the first time. Lewis Hamilton wins the victory after a fierce duel with his teammate, Nico Rosberg.

308,238 km: This is the distance that the drivers will have to cover to complete the 57 laps of the Bahrain Grand Prix.

7: Here are the drivers who have won at least once in Bahrain. In addition to Lewis Hamilton (2014, 2015, 2019, 2020) and Sebastian Vettel (2012, 2013, 2017, 2018), Fernando Alonso (2005, 2006, 2010) has 3 victories.

Felipe Massa (2007 and 2008) imposed himself twice. The other victories went to Michael Schumacher (2004), Jenson Button (2009), and Nico Rosberg (2016).

1:27.264:: The record for the fastest pole position at the Sakhir International Circuit, set in November 2020 by Lewis Hamilton.

16: The number of Grand Prix races held in Bahrain. The Grand Prix has been on the calendar continuously, except for the 2011 edition, which was canceled for political reasons.

200: During the 2018 edition, for his 200th Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel, author of the pole position, wins the race. His teammate Kimi Räikkönen retires after being released prematurely during his tire change, causing an injury to one of his mechanics.
