Spanish Grand Prix – The best tweets of the Iberian weekend

One week after a not very spectacular Portuguese Grand Prix, Formula 1 went to Spain, to the Montmelo circuit in Barcelona where the last events were hardly more exciting. But it was finally a Grand Prix full of twists and turns that the Catalan circuit offered us. Enough to please the Twitter users who once again delighted us this weekend!

It was Valtteri Bottas who started the hostilities of this weekend by taking a dig at Red Bull on Thursday, to deny rumors that he would be replaced mid-season:

But in the end, it was Lewis Hamilton who clinched the pole position, the 100th of his illustrious career:

Mazepin once again impeded drivers on track on Saturday, which cost him a 3-place grid penalty:

The Sunday race started well for Verstappen, who took the lead over Hamilton at the start:

Red Bull messed up Verstappen’s pit stop, a rare occurrence for the Austrian team:
