The last Grand Prix took place in the Netherlands and was won by the Dutchman, Max Verstappen, on his Red Bull. Before heading to the Italian Grand Prix which will begin this Friday at Monza, the Austrian team apparently decided to make a little detour to Palermo, on the Sicilian island in southern Italy. We don’t know how he got there but we know how he will arrive on the mainland.
Stroll through the alleys of the Palermo market, donuts in squares, a stop at the beach, fishing port. A career change a la Ken Block in this Red Bull short film that never does things by halves.
The single-seater used is an RB7 from the 2011 season which saw Sebastian Vettel in particular win no less than 11 races that year and become world champion.
Note that Red Bull already went to Sicily with Daniel Ricciardo in 2015 driving a Targa Florio.
