Turkish Grand Prix – Bottas: « Very nice to win again »
Valtteri Bottas had a great race today by clinching his first victory since Russia 2020.
Valtteri can consider himself lucky. Excellent speed throughout the weekend, both on dry and wet tracks. Due to his teammate’s starting position from the middle of the pack, the Finn hardly felt the pressure from other drivers and brilliantly led his Grand Prix, winning on a large scale.
“This is my best race of the year. The car performed simply incredibly on both dry and wet surfaces. During the race, I tried to drive cautiously and not let the opponents get too close.”
Big points have allowed Valtteri Bottas to solidify his third position in the championship.
