Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher will participate in the ROC 2022

Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher are added to the list of participants in the ROC 2022 which already includes drivers such as Mika Hakkinen, Valtteri Bottas, Sébastien Loeb, Petter and Olivier Solberg, and also Jimmie Johnson.

The former king of F1 (between 2010 and 2013) has already won the ROC Nations Cup six times as a team with his illustrious compatriot, Michael Schumacher. The German also won the 2017 edition, on his own, after replacing the injured Pascal Werhlein.

« I am really looking forward to participating in the Race of Champions and representing Germany with Mick,” Vettel told Autosport. « We had already teamed up at the 2019 ROC in Mexico and finished second. The goal will obviously be to do better in Sweden but the competition will be very tough. The Nordic drivers will be fearsome because they have much more experience than us in terms of driving on snow and ice.

Mick Schumacher has also expressed himself about his upcoming participation in the Race of Champions. Representing our country with Sebastian will be a lot of fun and we will aim for the trophy again. I am very excited to be participating in this ROC and the fact of driving on snow and ice will make this edition very special.

Johan Kristoffersson and Tom Kristensen, who represent Team Nordic, will also be present to defend their title, which will be played at the seaside resort of Pite Havsbad.
