Race of Champions: Sebastian Vettel defeated in the final by Sébastien Loeb!
Sebastien Loeb won the ROC 2022 in Sweden on a circuit completely made of ice. Probably less accustomed to sliding so much, Sebastian Vettel had to take the second position in the final.
Sebastien Loeb, after winning the Monte-Carlo Rally a few weeks ago, won the ROC 2022 this Sunday, securing his 4th victory in the competition.
Event now familiar to stadiums and the public, this 2022 edition took place in Sweden, on an ice-covered field with Porsche 718 Cayman equipped with studded tires, Polaris buggies, and cross cars from RX championships. Two electric vehicles were also part of the event.
In addition to Loeb and Vettel, other famous names traditionally participate in the Race of Champions to represent different nations. Didier Auriol, also a four-time winner of the ROC, accompanied Loeb, while Vettel was accompanied by Mick Schumacher.
We can also note the presence of Formula 1 drivers Valterri Bottas and Mikka Hakkinen for Finland, or David Coulthard for the United Kingdom. The only driver this weekend is Jamie Chadwick.
Other nations were represented such as Sweden, Norway, Brazil, and the USA.
