Alfa Romeo is partnering with the eyewear manufacturer Marcolin

Kimi Räikkönen has announced his retirement, but that won’t stop the new Alfa Romeo drivers from wearing sunglasses. The team has indeed just announced a sponsorship contract with Web Eyewear, a brand of the Marcolin Group, an Italian sunglasses manufacturer.

Marcolin designs sunglasses for major brands that are not their core business. If you have never seen Kimi Räikkönen without sunglasses, it does not mean that he was wearing Marcolin. However, this will be the case for Bottas, Zhou, and Kubica, the Alfa Romeo drivers in 2022.

The Web Eyewear logo will appear on the C42 unveiled to the public in a few days, and this partnership will give birth to a collection of glasses revealed during the season.
