At 2pm this afternoon, Williams unveiled the livery of its new Formula 1 car for 2022, but on a closer-to-final version model for presentation purposes rather than a fully functional concept.
The reason? The FW44, the real one, was already on the track for testing with Nicholas Latifi to perform its shakedown.
In these photos published by Williams, we can see a realistic FW44 with a DRS, unlike the presentation livery.
We can observe a typical Indycar nose, which is very straight compared to the previously presented single-seaters, and a rear hood that provides very little coverage around the suspensions.
