The FIA has reported via a statement that the Williams team has been allowed to break a curfew imposed on the work of the single-seaters on Wednesday evening. The same applies to McLaren on Thursday evening.
Teams must respect curfews in order to avoid working day and night with their on-site personnel. Work on the single-seaters is not allowed for a period of 13 hours, every night from 9 PM to 7 AM from Wednesday to Sunday. It should be noted that the cars arrive sealed and are not allowed to be modified before the preceding Wednesday of the race.
The sporting regulations of F1 state that there are 3 different curfews, to which several exceptions are granted. Article 23.7 specifies:
