Saudi Arabia Grand Prix – Follow the race live
The second Grand Prix of the 2022 Formula 1 season takes place this Sunday at 7pm - new time. If you don't want to miss a single moment but don't have Canal+ or an F1 TV subscription, we offer you an alternative: the live commentary of the race.
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix seems to maintain all its suspense. While the off-track conditions are far from perfect due to events that are now causing a sense of insecurity among the drivers (see this article), the suspense is at its peak just a few hours before the start of the Grand Prix.
Charles Leclerc, who was the winner a week ago in Bahrain, it is a Red Bull that is in pole position this weekend in Jeddah. Sergio Perez has secured his first pole position in 215 participations. He is ahead of the two Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz with his Red Bull. Max Verstappen will start from “only 4th” place.
Also note that due to his major crash, Mick Schumacher will not participate in the Grand Prix. He is not giving up his spot to Fittipaldi.
And the big sensation is Lewis Hamilton’s underperformance: he will start from the back of the grid.
