Alpine partners with Lapierre to create a high-end road bike
Alpine is not exempt from it. After the crypto-currency sponsorship trend, it is now the turn of bicycle manufacturers. Alpine is releasing a limited edition bike in collaboration with the French brand Lapierre.
The Dijon-based bicycle brand Lapierre has just signed a 3-year partnership with Alpine in Formula 1 to market a high-end bike, limited to 110 units, referencing
The Berlinette A110.
Marketed starting from the fall, the carbon bike has already been able to be tested by Esteban Ocon during the French Grand Prix this Friday morning. Evita Muzic, a professional French cyclist, was also present.
The Alpine team in Formula 1 is not the only one signing partnerships with bicycle manufacturers. Williams and Alfa Romeo have also signed agreements in recent months for electric bikes or competition bikes.
Note that Alpine had already carried out a similar partnership with MV Agusta in late 2020 by announcing a special edition Alpine motorcycle, also limited to 110 units.
