GP Explorer to be held for a second time

And why not until next year… for the GP Explorer 2. It is the conclusion of the 50-minute documentary that YouTuber and streamer Squeezie recently published to unveil the operation of the GP Explorer. The second edition is already being planned, but doesn’t have a date yet.

The GP Explorer, initially called Grand Prix Explorer and later renamed to suit Formula One Management, who owns the rights to the use of the term “Grand Prix”, brought together 22 rookie drivers on the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, behind the wheel of Formula 4 cars.

The objective of the project was to introduce the world of motorsport to as many people as possible through the audiences of various streamers participating in the event. Squeezie, the organizer, has a base of over 17 million subscribers on Youtube.

The GP Explorer physically welcomed over 40,000 people in the stands of Le Mans and over 1 million viewers in front of their screens to watch the live broadcast on Twitch.tv.

The organization has not yet disclosed the dates for the GP Explorer, nor the location, nor the guests. Julien Fébreau, presenter and commentator of Formula 1 on Canal+, had already expressed his desire to participate in GP Explorer 2 if there would be one, during the event.
