Alfa Romeo at Monza with a special livery
The Italian-Swiss team will come to their national Grand Prix with a single-seater paying tribute to the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, the latest model from the brand.
We will have to get used to it. For this Italian Grand Prix, two teams will change their livery. The first one is Ferrari, with a livery reminiscent of the 499P, winner at Le Mans this year. Then, Alfa Romeo. The Italian brand has just unveiled a special livery for this Italian Grand Prix.
This follows the presentation of the 33 Stradale, the brand’s latest car, unveiled on Wednesday, August 30th. « It’s a link between the past and the future, which reinterprets the stylistic features of the 1967 33 Stradale, adds Alfa Romeo.
The Italian flag will be applied on the entire rear of the C43, the side pods will be black, and golden lettering will indicate the brand name and the drivers’ number. « Approaching our home race in Monza, it is a pleasure to unveil this incredible livery, a true homage not only to the 33 Stradale but to Alfa Romeo as a whole and the country it originates from: Italy », Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Sauber’s CEO, rejoices.
« This livery is probably one of the most beautiful we have ever had on a car, and being able to present it in front of our local audience – including hundreds of members of our Hinwil team in the stands – is an honor for everyone. »
