Sebastian Vettel will install several beehives at Suzuka
The four-time world champion will attend the Grand Prix du Japon next weekend. Not to drive, but to lend a helping hand to nature. Eleven beehives will be set up by the driver near Suzuka.
Sebastian Vettel continues his fight for nature and biodiversity. For several years, the German driver has been wearing t-shirts to show that the planet is not doing well. In Miami, he notably wore a top that stated that the city of Florida will host the first underwater Grand Prix.
In Austria, [the former Aston Martin driver](/f1/actualite/27890-le-nouveau-t-shirt-de-sebastian-vettel-a-spielberg-proteger-les-abeilles.html “abeilles autriche”) had worn a new t-shirt to raise awareness that bees are endangered. He had even designed hotels for these little pollinators with schools in the Spielberg district.
On the sidelines of the Japanese Grand Prix, which will take place at Suzuka circuit, the four-time world champion will be present. Not to race, but once again to help bees. Here, Sebastian Vettel will set up 11 beehives.
According to The Bild, this project will be done in collaboration with a Japanese temple carpenter, whose workshop is located near the circuit. The structures will measure nearly 1.70 meters. The German (presumably referring to a person) personally invited the drivers and team managers to a launch event during this Japanese weekend.
