Several drivers arrive in Japan with in their suitcases, or rather in the suitcases of helmet suppliers, very special liveries. The country is conducive to creations. With its culture very different from Europeans, or its varied landscapes, Suzuka always promises us beautiful creations.
A chrome helmet for Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton collaborated with Hajime Sorayama to release a chrome helmet and showcase his creation in a very humanoid universe.
« I worked with Sorayama on this helmet and I’m so proud of how it came to life!! I’ve been a fan of him and his work for a long time, and ever since the launch of +44, collaborating with him was one of my personal goals. I can’t wait for all of you to see it on the track, » he explained.
Alonso with a special helmet
Fernando Alonso has also brought a specific design to his helmet. Goodbye, temporarily, to the colors of Asturias and hello to those of Japan. The red and white colors are omnipresent, with black graphic designs reminiscent of historic Japan, the temples, and the samurai.
Ocon also enters the era of Japan
Esteban Ocon has restored his classic design with these lines positioned in the same place but has repainted everything in white and red.
Zhou in blue
The Chinese driver Guanyu Zhou arrives in Suzuka for his part with a matte blue livery on his helmet.
