This weekend in the Red Bull garage, it's Formula 2 driver Ayumu Iwasa who will be present in the Red Bull garage. As a member of the Red Bull Junior Team, his objective is to learn more about how Formula 1 works. Isack Hadjar, on the other hand, is with AlphaTauri.

After being in the Red Bull garage in Singapore, Isack Hadjar is still in the F1 paddock this weekend. He will discreetly observe the Grand Prix from the AlphaTauri garage, the team with whom he will drive in FP1 in Mexico. He actually molded his seat this week.

The young Frenchman, currently a driver in F2, is not the only Red Bull protege to benefit from Formula 1 experience. Indeed, Ayumu Iwasa, born in Osaka, located a few hours away from the Suzuka circuit, is now in the Red Bull garage, in F1. He will have the opportunity this weekend to learn everything that is done in Formula 1 with the reigning championship-winning team, which could potentially be crowned champions once again this weekend.

Iwasa is currently the top-ranked driver of the Red Bull program in the F2 championship. He holds third place with 152 points and has already secured three victories this season, two in sprint races and one in a long race.

Seats are scarce in Formula 1 and Iwasa has not yet secured a place as a reserve driver at Red Bull or AlphaTauri. Liam Lawson, who made a stunning entry into Formula 1 this season as a replacement for the injured Ricciardo, could very well be offered a race seat in F1 next year. Iwasa, who has been in Formula 2 since 2022, could either extend his stay in F2 for a third season or take on a reserve driver position. He could also join the Super Formula, a Japanese single-seater championship, where Liam Lawson is currently competing, for example.
