The director of the Renault group went to put the clocks back in time at Enstone

Motivating the Alpine troops, it is necessary after a complicated summer. Lacking in results, the F1 stable of the Renault group was destabilized by the premature end of the contract of the Alpine director, Laurent Rossi, but also by the dismissal of its main thinkers, Otmar Szafnauer, Alan Permane and Pat Fry.

In place since the departure of Laurent Rossi, Bruno Famin, is confirmed in the position of director of the Alpine racing team in front of the drivers, present for the occasion, Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly and more than 800 Alpine employees in the UK and 300 present via video conference from Viry-Châtillon.

Luca De Meo’s speech apparently lasted 40 minutes but in the absence of any media, it is hard to confirm his words.

A lack of synergy between France and England

The conflicts between France and England seem to continue and although the Hundred Years’ War has been over for a long time, Alpine, formerly Renault or Lotus, cannot get its Viry-Châtillon engine entities and Enstone chassis to work together.

To compensate for this lack of team spirit, the GIGN will be called upon to take a hundred people from the team to training camp this winter, during the off-season, in order to improve harmony.

A speech without media

Aside from a few words of this speech transmitted here and there by some engineers or mechanics from the team, neither Alpine nor Luca De Meo have officially communicated about this event.

Difficult therefore to know exactly the intention of the team or even to know if Bruno Famin has officially been appointed director of the stable.
