The Ferrari Driver Academy driver is currently in Formula 2 with Prema. He is in 6th place in the championship with one round left in the season, including notably three victories that have not gone unnoticed.
The Briton has thus convinced Haas to give him a chance in Free Practice 1 of the Mexican Grand Prix, in two to three weeks. However, the 2021 F4 champion, who has never been through F3, has until today never driven any Formula 1.
Ollie Berman’s preparation therefore began today at Fiorano, with Ferrari, with a first drive in a 2021 Ferrari F1. In addition, he will drive in free practice 1 also in Abu Dhabi, always with Haas.
